Here is a new challenge that anyone can and should do. As you can see from the pictures above, the challenge is sleep. For our bodies to function properly and lose weight in an ideal manner, we need to get enough sleep each night. So the challenge is as follows:
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night
- Give yourself 1 point for each night you get 7 hours of sleep
- Challenge goes from tonight until next Wednesday (Dec. 16)
- Naps do not count as part of the 7 hours (needs to be consecutive)
- Comment on the blog about how this has made you feel
- Leeway will be allowed for the couple of nursing mothers in the competition (if you need any leeway) I know 1 lucky woman whose baby sleeps great, or so she says
Let's all ZZZZZZZZZ our way through the next week. I have heard that you burn more calories sleeping than sitting on the couch watching tv! So, snooze away instead of being a couch potato!
Daryl

Thanks! No naps count huh? Alright... it's on!
ReplyDeleteI love this challenge...I struggle with getting to bed at a decent hour...I am so doin' this one! I need it!
ReplyDeleteAlright. I got 5 hours (if that) last night. But the rest of the week I got at least 7. Except one day, which was exactly 6 hours and 50 minutes, dang it.
ReplyDeleteSo that's technically only 5 out of 7 for me.
5 nights is better than what I did. I think I had 4 nights. And actually, we started last Tuesday night, so there are technically 8 nights as part of the challenge. 50%, not too hot for me.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I am willing to count the 6 hour 50 minute night as good, because hey, close enough!
ReplyDeleteI loved this challenge. Thanks Daryl. I was out by 11:00 and up between 6-7:30 every day. I think that early to bed and early to rise DOES make a man healthy, wealthy and wise....even if I am still waiting on the wealthy and wise. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Big D, I got 7pts. Thanks Jenny
ReplyDeleteDwain got 6 points
ReplyDeleteI had 5 nights of good sleep
