Motivation!

Motivation is my enemy! My biggest problem with trying to be fit and healthy is my lacking motivation. But here are somethings that have helped me in my quest!

Motivated to eat healthy- This my biggest problem. But I just try to remember what it took for me to lose just one pound. And I also try to remember that when I eat poorly, I am unhappy. When I eat healthy foods, I have more energy and a positive self image.

Motivation to workout- Sometimes, if I am really not feeling it that day, and don't want to exercise because I am too tired (or lazy) I just put on my workout clothes and just wear them around the house until I say to myself..."well I already have the clothes on...might as well just do it". So basically I trick myself into working out :) Sometimes it works better then other times. The other thing that really gets me motivated to workout is some good music! I love music and I love my I-pod! The only thing that gets me through a hard workout is some music. But when I am not feeling it that day, I put on a good workout song that gets me pumped! That seems to really help. Or another great thing that I think of when I am running and just feel like I can't run anymore is Rick and Dick Hoyt.
